FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Family Seeks Justice for Son's Murder and Accountability for Prosecutorial Misconduct by Karen McDonald and Marc Keast.

Updated: Oct 25

The family possesses evidence indicating that McDonald and Keast withheld critical information from Judge Valentine, resulting in Remington's release despite his status as a two-time convicted felon with a history dealing drugs. Remington, who confessed to 12 snapchat users for giving Denis "Methylone some moll" in a Snapchat message, had previously been held on a $1 million cash bond by three different judges who considered the evidence against him compelling.

"The actions of McDonald and Keast have enabled a dangerous criminal to be released, potentially putting others at risk," stated Linda Preka Thom, Denis's mother. "We cannot allow this situation to persist. It is imperative that these prosecutors are held accountable for their misconduct."

The family is calling on the public to sign a petition demanding justice for Denis and advocating for an investigation into the prosecutors' actions. The petition is available at https://chng.it/Z4HWtJhfr4.

"We urge everyone to share this petition and help spread awareness," said Linda Thom. "Together, we can ensure justice is served and prevent other families from experiencing the pain and suffering we have endured."
