The family has proof that McDonald and Keast withheld crucial evidence from Judge Valentine, leading to Remington’s release from jail despite being a two-time convicted felon with a history of threats and violence. Remington, who admitted to killing Denis in a Snapchat message, was previously held on a $1 million cash bond by three different judges who deemed the evidence against him overwhelming.
“McDonald and Keast’s actions have allowed a dangerous criminal to walk free, potentially endangering the lives of others,” said Linda Preka Thom, Denis’s mother. “We cannot allow this to happen. We must hold these prosecutors accountable for their misconduct.”
The family is urging the public to sign a petition demanding justice for Denis and calling for an investigation into the prosecutors’ actions. The petition can be found at https://chng.it/Z4HWtJhfr4.
“We are asking everyone to share this petition and spread the word,” said Linda Thom. “Together, we can ensure that justice is served and that no other family has to endure the pain and suffering we have experienced.” For Marc Keast misconducts click here
